The Graduate Studies Committee of the RMCC ECE Department consists of:


In general, the Committee does whatever is necessary to assure the smooth operation of the graduate program. This includes recommending changes to program regulations to the Department for adoption, enforcing those regulations, tracking student progress, and providing counselling to students. Some of the members’ principal responsibilities are listed below.

The Chair is responsible for the overall functioning of the graduate program, coordinates admission applications, and approves registration requests on behalf of the Department Head. The Chair also represents the Department to the Dean of Graduate Studies and the Divisional Graduate Studies Committee.

The Electrical, Computer and Software Engineering Program Coordinators provide advice and counselling to MASc and PhD students in their respective areas, participate in admission reviews, and approve proposed programs of study.

The PhD Comprehensives Coordinator is primarily responsible for the management of the Comprehensive Examinations and participates in admission reviews.
